Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Short, plain, no marketing voice. If a question is missing, write to ask and the FAQ grows.

01
What do I actually get?
Print-ready STL files, delivered as a download you can re-grab from your account library at any time. Sculpted at 32 mm heroic scale, designed for both resin and FDM, with supports tuned where it matters.
02
How does the subscription work?
A monthly subscription. While it's active you get that month's release models to keep forever, a monthly grant of runes to spend on the back catalog, and fifty per cent off any cash purchase. Cancel anytime, and you keep everything you've already claimed.
03
What are runes?
Runes are a loyalty credit included with the subscription. They don't expire and they stack up, but they can only be spent while your subscription is active. They have no cash value, they're not refundable, they're not transferable.
04
What's the Kickstarter bundle?
Backers of the Runciter Kickstarter redeem their full collection here with a redemption code tied to their pledge email. The KS bundle is excluded from the subscriber discount and isn't purchasable with runes. It's a separate thing.
05
What's the license?
Personal use only. No commercial use, resale, or redistribution. Print what you'd like for yourself or for friends. Don't sell the files, don't sell the prints, don't upload the meshes anywhere.
Orders, downloads & delivery

Support, in short

The quick answers to the things people ask most. If yours isn’t here, open a ticket from your account and a real person will reply.

Delivery & timing

When do I get my models?
Kickstarter and Late Pledge models are delivered when the release publishes (estimated August 2026), at the same time as the original backers. We'll email you the moment they land in your library, so there's nothing to chase until then.

Downloads & your library

Where do I download my files?
Everything you own lives in your library under Account → Purchases. Open a model and download its files.
Can I re-download later?
Yes, always. Your library is re-downloadable any time, as often as you need, on any device. There's no download limit and no expiry.

Orders & access

I ordered as a guest, how do I get my files?
Guest orders are tied to the email you used at checkout. Verify that email (or create an account with it) and the order attaches to your library automatically, ready to download. If the claim link didn't arrive, ask us and we'll resend it.

Payment & refunds

Is VAT included?
Yes. Prices are final and include VAT where it applies. The price you see is the price you pay.
What's your refund policy?
Because the files are digital and can't be returned, refunds are handled case by case. If something's genuinely wrong (a broken file, a double charge, a clear mistake), write to us and we'll make it right.

Files, formats & color

What formats and scales do I get?
Print-ready STL files. Every model comes both pre-supported and raw (unsupported), at two scales: 32 mm heroic for the tabletop and 75 mm display. Print straight away or add your own supports. You also get a full-color version (vertex color) as a 3MF file, the format that carries the color for Bambu Studio and other color-capable printers. The plain STL is always included too.
What is 'full color' / vertex color?
Vertex color is the model's paint baked into the mesh itself (the color is stored per point), so a color-capable printer can print it already colored. It ships as the 3MF file mentioned above. On an ordinary printer, just use the plain STL and paint it yourself as usual.

Late Pledge tiers

What do the Late Pledge tiers include?
Three tiers of the First Codex: The Fragment (21 heroes, €30), The Volume (60 heroes, €65) and The Complete Codex (all 100 heroes, €80). Every tier includes both scales, pre-supported and raw STL, written lore and VTT resources for each name, the full-color versions, plus all 10 free companions, and it's re-downloadable forever. See the Late Pledge page for the current line-up.
Still curious

The longer version of why we do this lives in the manifesto. The shorter version: browse the shop and see if a model earns shelf space.
